I think NOED should be baseline, but totem count should appear on the HUD from the beginning of the match. It's a perk given to killers, so why not use it? I'm definitely in favour of something along the lines of a dull totem counter and alerting the survivors of the presence of noed when the last generator pops. Also, the cleansing action is litteraly a whole generator worth of time for the killer, even if he doesn’t have the perk. Game over for me. Noed is a hex perk which causes all survivors to suffer the "exposed" status effect once the exit gates have been opened, thus causing survivors to die from one hit from the killer as opposed to two hits. The whole counters arguement is stupid because DS has counters in perks like Enduring, Unnerving, Rancor (which I haven’t seen mentioned) or even Iron grasp (to counter any non obsession DSs) and of course gameplay with juggling, slugging and positioning over a height. Most survivors are not competent enough to hook swap each other while waiting out NOED, and honestly it's playing with fire either way - if someone gets hooked within the first 10 seconds of the exit gates being powered it's better to just abandon them in the map. However, there's something SUPER annoying about being insta-downed and denied even the possibility to escape with your second health state when you're this close to reaching the exit (gates powered) and you'd been doing well until that point.
